Welcome to our Youth Page!
YOUTH UPCOMING & SUMMER EVENTS
MIDDLE SCHOOL YOUTH GATHERING – First, for the middle schoolers in grades 5th – 8th grade, there is the one-day gathering at Bethany Lutheran in Rice Lake.
HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH GATHERING – Second, there is a summer Youth Gathering for students who have completed 8th-12th grade. Five other regional synods will join the Northwest Synod of Wisconsin for this gathering which will be held at UW-River Falls. This promises all the great feels of a National Youth Gathering but it is more economical.
LUTHER POINT BIBLE CAMP – Third, there are adventures awaiting at Luther Point Bible Camp this summer! One goal of the NW Synod of WI is to have every kid attend Bible camp! It is the one event which strengthens faith and predicts future engagement and leadership in the church. It is a place of abundant love of Christ. Please go to: LutherPointBibleCamp.com to search out the opportunities from 1st and 2nd grade overnight camp to High School week-long camps to grandparent camp!
Watch for updates for the next meeting! All Youth Grades 5th through 12th are welcome!
HS Youth Meeting – Wednesday, October 21st – (cancelled will be rescheduled)

Synod High School Youth Gathering
November 7-8, 2026
Whether you are looking for a space to gather your high school students together this fall for some faith and relationship-building time, OR you are looking for a way to kickstart your 2027 ELCA Youth Gathering Experience, this retreat is for you! We hope you’ll gather your high school youth (and 8th graders who will be or are considering participation in the Youth Gathering) and join us as we experience meaningful friendships, inspiring music and worship, incredible storytelling, thoughtful conversations, and fun activities! We will be joined by David Scherer (AGAPE), Joe Davis (poet/artist/musician), AND Rachel Kurtz (musician), all former main-stage guests at the Youth Gathering, who will engage us with their stories, music, and audience participation!
